Session 3 - Unexpected Familiar Faces Report

General Summary

Null, Baern, and Theodora returned to Whitebrook in the evening only to find that the town was quiet, save for the bustling Limping Braggart, recently freed of its ever-hungry goliath. Visiting the military encampment to speak with Xarak, the trio ran into Lady Valindra Valmine of Elnemora, before Baern was given leave to join the party on their travels. Theodora was promoted to Partri Prentice-Spy under Xarak and given the task of following and funnelling intelligence on Lady Valmine and her household.
Back at Null's homestead, a bloodcurtling cry sent Lonehunter and Mithiope running for Whitebrook, although they were seemingly not followed. They were on their way to reconvene with the group before mother and daughter ran into one another. Words were privately exchanged between the two, before Valindra bade Mithiope return to Castle Valmine after having failed in her mother's expectations. Mithiope refused, and the party backed her up, and with a well-placed charm from Theodora, Lady Valmine and her entourage returned to Elnemora via a portal. However, in the fracas there was a casualty, who lay abandoned and in shock. Null raised his mace above the man's head, preparing to deal a mortal blow...
