The Elves of Ithalin are well known for their abilities at sea. However, they must constantly be careful due to the nature of their enemy, the Green Dragons.   In 750, using unknown magics, the Green Dragons masked their movements and fell upon the great fleet of Ithalin. Within an hour much of the fleet had been burnt to cinder, and the Green Dragons escaped without losing a single of their number. This has greatly weakened Ithalin’s current position.
