The Fate of the Colonies

Expedition

The Elven colonies, essentially forgotten in the chaos and aftermath of the late first Age, finally returned word home in 387 2A.   A small ship of refugees expressed how their colonies had been simultaneously destroyed by a vampire menace that ate at the culture of each colony until destroying it utterly, and that the last colony, Torva’Oa (Elven Landing) was next.   Shortly after this however a ship of delegates from Torva’Oa arrived and explained that while the other colonies had been lost to natives Torva’Oa remained strong and any rumors of vampiric corruption were sorely overblown.   That said many contemporaries even to do this day say that the Elves of Torva’Oa do seem awfully pale for a race that spends so much time on a sunny continent.
