The Aurelian Coup

Aurelia is notable for being one of the few non-Fallen City Kingdoms to hold real sway over the region they inhabit. The Stellings family, having ruled it since the Torva were ousted from power, were themselves ousted from power by the rival Virti family.   The entire Stellings family was thought lost in the coup, and the kingdom became ruled by the Virti family, a rather unsuccessful and ruinous line.
