Frogpit

Back Story

Frogpit, from an early age had always known to hold great powers within, but he never had a great hold on them. The earliest memory he had is when he was just a babe- he wandered from his home, and into the woods, where he found a gate, a beautiful display of magic. He hesitantly stepped forward, into the gate, and everything went black. Frog woke to the sound of his mothers worried voice, the towns shaman carefully looking over the young goblin. He was in his bed, safe. He wasnt sure what had happened, but it seemed many grew scared of him.

His parents did their best, but they always seemed distant, never fully coming close to their child in a way that he needed. When he reached school age, they seemed to fully pull back. He remembered the fellow goblin children throwing rocks at him, calling him a freak- in a fit of rage, he only remembered slinging a piece of ice at the fellow child, and then the entire town around him had been engulfed in flames. The town revolted, and his parents decided to send him away, to a distant land to fend for himself.

Without any guidance, or formal training, Frogpit was let loose in the land of Fyregonia, amongst the fey. He picked up their traits, and did his utter best to emulate them.

The young goblin boy never got a hold of his magic, nor did he ever get a true, formal education. He did his best to master his own magic, but it always ended up in failure, so he was always left alone, others afaid of what destruction he could cause to them, and the world around him.

One day, he had been practicing in the woods, trying to get ahold of the raw magic he had stumbled upon many years ago in his past- but he had stumbled, causing a fire to the area around the forbidden tree, angering the Fey Queen, Fyregonia, herself. Frogpit, terrified, tried to hide from the queenn, but he wasnt too lucky. Instead, she had found him, and banished him to an unknown land, to once again fend for himself.

Chaotic Blessing

The more Frogpit uses magic, the more frequent chaos surrounds him. When Frogpit would roll for a Wild Magic Surge, if the result is a 1, the wild magic surge occurs. If he fails to create a wild magic surge, increase a successful result 1 + the number of previous failures since last successful magical surge. Upon a successful wild magic surge, a success returns to 1. This can be done more than once per turn and with cantrips
