The Darkening of Lumaria

Domeric Garent, Then Grand Marshall of The Dawnstars led a inquisition following the invasion of Marengoth to flush out any remaining supporters and allies who might remain.

When his pursuits led to very little, Domeric was sure that his enemies were hidden in plan sight. Claiming this a period of Inquisition The movement started slow and Domeric began to grow impatient with the lack of achievements. Over the course of the next 25 years, Domeric would become so obsessed with his crusade that he began to fed the Dawnstars false information regarding the Agents of Marengoth and their humanoid counterparts resulting in the torturing of innocent people.

Eventually, the Inquisition spilled out from the borders of Lumaria into other kingdoms. Abundant in the lands outside of Lumaria, many Tieflings were captured, tortured, and killed. When it was discovered this was occuring, many of the kingdoms viewed this as an encroachment on their Sovern lands and people, with the Kingdom of Kellen'Dara viewing this atrocity as an act of Genocide. United against a common threat, the kingdoms pushed back against the religious warriors, leading to the Lumarians to view the other Kingdoms as Agents of Marengoth.

The war lasted for the next 50 years , culminating in the battle of Delpha Morrow in the Kingdom of Kellen'Dara. There the united kingdoms were on the losing end of the war until an agent of the Shade's Hand successfully assassinated Emberlight Marshall Domeric and released his private notes -leaving strong evidence that HE was actually a sleeper agent for Marengoth without his knowledge.

As a result of the war, The Kingdom of Kellen'Dara built the city Safe Haven within its borders where all of Tiefling kind would be safe. Many important artifacts within Lumarian were stolen, some of which were of regarded highly secretive
