The land known as 'Kandvier' is made up of three large continents, each with their own cultures and peoples. In the south rests the cradle of humanity, Ülmeir. To the North, the land of Terra Vermiculus awaits, a once beautiful but now war-torn land. Far to the East, across the Black Sea, lies the land of savages, Kyreach.

Escaped from an insane asylum, the infamous bard has joined a group of adventurers in their quest of aimless wandering. One night while his party stopped at the town of Golgrave, shortly after overthrowing the child mayor and killing him, they rested for a couple of weeks. during their stay they helped shape the town of Golgrave into a thriving community once more. Many agree it was best for the town and the people, though Sharus's motives are still unknown. He has decided to stick with the group for fun until they fulfill their duty or he gets bored.
