Society
Berdernook is a town of tough men and women used to dealing with the beasts that lurk in the surrounding forests and marshland. The town consists mostly of Humans, Half-Elves and Elves. Mostly a working class town, there is little respect paid for any nobility outside the family that govern it.
The town is also the founding presence of the
Political
The main noble family is The Grelton Family they've held residency here for many generations, they treat their people with the respect they deserve and rarely make appearances outside formal occasions or passing nobility that is requested of them.
The other semi-political faction is the Iron Bark Initiative which is lead by Orallia Haig
Economical
Lumber for boatbuilding, housing and shaft supports for the mines in the north. They are also known for being skilled tanners and leatherworkers as well.
Religious
There is small temple to Malar, god of the hunt, but their clerics will only tend to the brave, Iron Bark Initiative and those who show respect to the hunt.

Fell-Fall - the first snowfall of Winter will bring the Fell-Fall-Festival which celebrates the harvesting season for lumber in the town.
Saying often heard may your axe never dull - meaning may you always stay sharp like the hatchets and axes used in harvest.
