05 - Pyrac Knights
Celebrate All Things
Rarely seen and often dismissed as disreputable drunks and addicts, this militant and quasi-religious sect is dedicated to providing people with someone they can look to for help when the city guards or others with influence aren't behaving ethically. These trained warriors are focused on defense, like many knightly order before them, however their distinction is obvious to anyone who has spent time with a Pyrac Knight. They are well known to be non-judgmental and willing to help anybody being subjugated or exploited by someone with power over them, although their criteria vary somewhat from knight-to-knight and night-to-night depending on the seriousness of the situation.
Often focusing on his hedonistic and less savory characteristics, the Primis Pyram has cultivated his reputation in the same manner that generations of a family-farmers will cultivate various characteristics in their grapes to creatre a unique and delicious flavour. Most Primis are against taking direct action in the lives of the mortal species and although Pyram is no exception to this, he is also one of the Primis most likely to inspire a religious following due to his relaxed belief structure and a wide variety of moral tenents that appeal to a broad range of folk.
Composition
Training
The only way to become a Pyrac Knight is to be trained at their only known headquarters, the Cenoby, a hidden villa and monestary where their elders and non-adventuring priests live. First you must find a Knight to accept you as a Squire. Although this isn't an official part of their spiritual training there are some basic skills that should be known before training can officially begin. It is common for a Pyrac Knight to accept a Squire and use the time required to return to the Cenoby to help teach their new ward how to care for their equipment and for themselves depending on their age and life-time experience.

I like that these guys are dedicated to defending anyone, but that they are commonly seen as drunks.
