Dimira
Considered somewhat of a wallflower by the other known primis, Dimira is generally content to sit back and watch events unfold. Her primary interest is in watching things erode and decompose, sometimes literally but more often metaphorically. Although not against growth or beginnings, Dimira prefers other concepts and leaves those parts of existence for other primis to purvey.
Divine Domains
While Elairion is the lord of the spiritual underworld and undeath, Dimira is the god of earthly death and physical decay. She revels in entropy and erosion of all kinds but is also facinated by change and metamorphisis.
Holy Books & Codes
Two millennia ago Dimira wrote out her thoughts on the world of Kaos and how she felt living, sentient creatures should behave among themselves. At this time humans hadn't developed much of a culture but through her gift of Foresight Dimira was certain humans were the intended children of the world.
In modern times her cult learns from her writing and act on it as though it were law. The primary strictures are as follows;
- Time changes all things. Be aware of these changes but do not fight against them.
- Nothing new can be made when two hands hold onto the past. Letting go can be painful but don't let it hinder new growth.
- Old isn't alway better or worse than the new. Sometimes things just are.
Tenets of Faith
Dimira promotes natural decay in all things. Nothing new is made without the death of something old and we honor what came before by using all parts of it and never prevent the natural cycle of life and death. Erosion and etropy are divine forces to be observed and never interfered with.
To many of her followers this condones a harsh, 'survival of the fittest' mentality. Especially among younger members of The Rot there is no place for the weak willed or feeble bodied.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
In-line with her tenets and divine observations, Dimira has a very straightforward goal: to maintain the natural order on Kaos. Unlike other primis, Dimira does not see themselves as part of their pantheon of human deities but as a protector of all balance across Kaos. Especially with the recent 'discovery' of Vusinium, Dimira feels that the balance of knowledge and power is shifting and wants to preserve the status-quo.
