Pe Nok

Coastal town

Pe Nok
The town is small and shabbily constructed out of wood that forms platforms on which majority of the people live. Nothing in the town is built to last, it is too used to wars and floods and rebuilding. The city is located on the mouth of a Strait, which made it a rich coastal city sometime in the past, but those days are lost to history. These days, the city is dominated by fishermen and traders, with quite a few pirates thrown in. No nearby kingdom lays claim to the city and they carry on as they have, minding their own business, profiteering off the sea in small ways. The one thing Pe Nok is good for these days, is hiding. No one pays much attention to people who settle here, and all pasts are accepted, so long as they are past. But every once in a while, in an inebriated state, someone will tell a tale, that's almost too realistic to just be a story. Here in Pe Nok, we don't dwell on such stories.

Currently serves as a base of operations for Amalia Thorne   Old Clocktower - An old, now unused clocktower on the edge of Pe Nok. No one goes here these days, occupied by rats etc. The clocks are magical and continue to tell the right time. Is often used by people looking for a temporary place to hide.
