Ichor
Ichor is the ethereal blood of beings from Ythalga . Ichor can be harvested from the body or corpse of an Elder God, Servitor, or behemoth and imbibed for magical effect.
The following transpires when Ichor is imbibed by a non-eldritch being.
1. As the Ichor spreads throughout the body, the imbibers heart will begin to quicken to a thundering beat. A fever will manifest rapidly as the imbiber inherits a measure of vitality from the siphoned eldritch being. Strength, speed, agility are all enhanced, as is ruthlessness and violence. The imbiber will become extremely aggressive as a viking berserker. 2. The imbiber will gain access to the energy of the Spirit made physical and can see the spirit halo emanating from all beings. Raw Ichor will funnel spirit inefficiently in a non-eldritch being and they will release the spirit energy explosively causing devastation and death to the imbiber. This wild outburst of Spirit is called the Spirit Flare. 3. If they are not slain, or do not destroy themeselves in the release of the spirit flare, their mind will rapidly deteriorate as they begin to receive visions of Ythalga and go mad. These visions are predicated on the memories of the source of the stolen Ichor. The madness will deteriorate to seizures, mad ramblings, and death.
An imbiber of Ichor is called an Ephemera or someone who's life will not extend beyond the day.
