Charlie Allaxin (ʧɑrli ɑləʃin)
The Lady of Stories (a.k.a. Wolfie)
-Anyrix, Primordal Ruler of Trickery
It had been a long time since I had walked the streets of this town.
How long has it been... a century? I must have forgotten. Time passes strangely when you are immortal. I had come to this town to see a performance by a potential student, but now all the memories from before are swelling up- argh, no time. That is a tale for another day.
I hurry down the sidewalk. Hopefully I won't miss the show. That would be irritating.
Let me tell you a little about her while I exhaust myself running. (I hate this flimsy mortal form.) Her name is Charlie Allaxin, but I'm just going to call her Wolfie because she has two wolves for pets. She is a talented lyre musician, but what really piqued my interest was her knack for illusion magic, a type of magic I'm quite specialized in. She learned how to use it in her performances, and now can perform an entire play by herself, forming illusions for the actors, changing the stage, interacting with the audience... I could go on and on.
But yes, to keep it short, I want to be her teacher. I reached the square, okay I might not be too la- woah that's a big crowd. Maybe I am sort of late.
I make my way to the front of the crowd, ignoring the evening chill biting at my fingers and the racket of so many people talking at once. The latter is giving me a headache.
And now we wait. I should have brought another cloak if I knew it was going to be this cold. The crowd gasps, and I look at the stage. Bright colors burst into being, dancing across the stage, bathing the entire square in an iridescent glow. Some of them combine together to form three crimson dragons made of pure light.
The dragons swoop overhead, chasing the sun as it dips below the horizon. Glowing stags leap from the stage and bound into the crowd. I reach out to the closest one, wanting to give it an affectionate pat, but my hand passed through it's head and the deer didn't even seem to notice.
"All but an illusion," I muttered to myself. It wouldn't be worth risking my identity just to pet a deer. Sadly. Two wolves emerge from the illusions, escorting a young woman onto the platform. She is here.

Special abilities
She usually harnesses music to create her illusions (it takes less energy) but can cast a spell without the assistance of her lyre.

I like the opening segment, nice way to start the article! I wonder though why the person still want to be her teacher as she already seems quite capable :p Summoning that illusion dragon by accident must have been quite scary for her parents xp You also mention two pet wolves, how did she actually tame them?
Thank you so much for the feedback! Basically with Anyrix being the Primordal Deity of Trickery they are by far the best at illusion magic and can even make illusions real for about a day by casting a certain spell. With Charlie's natural skills, she may be the only other person in the three realms who can pull off that spell, and Anyrix thinks it could help with her performances. (Whether that is the only reason is yet to be known lol) For the dragon, yeah I imagine it was lol. Just finding their daughter staring at a dragon as big as their inn and then it just vanishing might have been a liiittle traumatizing lol And about the wolves, her family found them as puppies behind the inn, and after a lot of pleading (And a trip to the local animal handler to make sure they didn't have a disease or something along those lines) they raised the pups as if they were normal dogs. (Which they pretty much are but bigger and more intimidating) Yet again, thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it :)
