ponatlocust (po-NAT-lo-cust)

The pesky ponatlocust originated in western Vancorra and is named after the city of Ponat in Kerlonia. After Lanarians unwittingly introduced them to Lanaria they became a serious threat to agriculture. Their population is more controlled in modern times but the occasional swarm can still be devastating to farmers, especially in Jolethia.
