Several years after his fist conquests in India, Alexander III decided to return. This time he planned to conquer far beyond the Indus towards the banks of the Ganges river.

Thanks to the addition of the newer Persian troops and the addition of war elephants the campaign was a success although it did cause Alexander III to be wounded in battle.
