Griffin Heights

Located in the valley that leads into Fenris Pass Griffin Heights is a busling Holiday town for the nobilty of Stormwind. The Home to the Knights of the Order of the Griffins' Hill Lands Erie the town sees a large military presence with Griffin knights often passing through on their way to train. The Town is home to the Grand Cathedral of the Platinum dragon which itself surrounds the Erie like a fortress of Righteousness filled with clerics and templars performing rituals and training excerises throughout the Day and quiet watchful vigilance throughout the night. Griffin Heights is well known for its famous High Street where the nobility seem to spend ever more quanities of gold on ever more extravegant accessories and apparel.

Defences

The Town boasts a stone wall that has been well upkept by the Church as building defensive structures is one of the strange ways that Bahamut worshipers honour their god. As well as the inner and outer walls the Town is home to the Erie a tall hollow rocky structure which is home to the Griffins of Griffin Heights. The Order of the Griffin rides these fearsome beasts in to battle to act a brilliant shock cavalry as well as brilliant mounted archers for when the enemy needs enticing into a more favourable position.

Districts

Griffin Heights is laid out into 3 teirs. The first of these Tiers is the Housing Tier, this as the name suggests is where most of the towns residents are homed. The homes within this tier are designed to be comfortbale but not overly decoratie unless they are facing the main Road up the hill. Homes within the housing tier are typically made of local timber and blue bricks with the occaisional stained glass window depicting worship of Bahamut.
The Second and busiest tier is the commercial tier also known coloquialy as the High Street. The High Street is the location of Griffin Heights famous High Street where dozens of well respected shops and services can be found. From Candleshops to Blacksmiths Griffin Heights High Street is the main attraction for many nobles lookingto spend their gold while enjoying their time away from the affairs of the capital.
Finally the last and highest Tier is the Platinum Tier named so for it is home to the Grand Cathedral of Bahamut. the Cathedral is built around the grand Erie which the Order of the Griffin have made into one of the nests for the breeding and training of their legendary mounts; Griffins. The Cathedral is the base of operations for Archon Alfred Revil, whose influence can be felt through out the surrounding area as the Archon likes to work closely with the Order of the Griffin. As well as the Cathedral the Platinum tier is home to many of the summer manors for Stromwinds wealthier nobility dotted around are large impressive mansion whose size seems to be ever increasing as families desperately bid for the prestiege of who can own the largest landmark next to one of the Hepostrists church seats of power.
