A Luck Stone
A Smooth Oval Stone imbued with Enchantment Magic
A Luck Stone is a small usually smooth polished oval stone of any colour, some have two or more colours. These magical stones were made from various types of stone, whatever the enchanter wanted to use. A luck stone is a vital component of a Luck Blade, the stone being embedded in the pommel.
The holder of a luck stone enjoyed a number of magical benefits. The stone is enchanted with Luck (Like the Spell) and can help in combat to improve accuracy when attacking, AC when defending, and improve resistance to general detrimental effects and misfortunes, magical or otherwise.
The Stone grants its holder with the power of good fortune, giving them the ability to turn one immediate bad turn of events into a good one, up to a maximum of six times per day, upon using a charge. The stone regains up to six charges the following dawn.
Finally, a Luck Stone is granted with up to three uses of the wish spell, each of which could be cast only once a day. Once all the uses were expended, the stone could no longer provide new wishes, but all its other enhancements remained.
The attuned owner of the stone would become exceptionally lucky for the following three minutes upon using a charge (1 of up to 6 daily uses, recharging at dawn, roll 1D6). As such, the holder would become more likely to hit their target (Up to +4 to hit, roll 1D4 with Advantage) and help avoid an attack or spell (Roll 1D4 adding the number to your AC, up to +4 with Advantage).
As well as this, A Rogue character using the stone would become slightly better in thievery skills, such as pickpocketing and sneaking adding up to +4 to their Dexterity (Roll 1D4 with Advantage) or a Magic Using character adding up to +4 (Roll 1D4 with Advantage) to their Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.
How To Damage & Destroy
A Luck Stone can be destroyed: firstly you must penetrate the AC 16 (Armour Class) rolling a combined total of seventeen (17) or more on a D20 plus any bonus modifiers. Next a roll of eleven (11) or more is needed on the Damage Die, this is to penetrate the outer layer of the item, this is known as Threshold Damage. If the Damage die is ten (10) or under no actual damage is made upon the Stone, but if eleven (11) or more is rolled, then a second Damage roll is made, this amount is then taken off of the Hit Point Total which is Sixteen (16hp).
