Communist Party of Japan
Founded in 1922, the Japanese Communist Party was immediately met with contempt from the government, and was shortly after outlawed with the passing of the Peace Preservation Law of 1925. Voting rights were simultaneously expanded to all males in the society, but the government feared that this would open up the possibility for this burgeoning communist movement to gain traction and the party was therefore banned from operating.

Political Stances
Industrialization
Industry is owned and operated for the benefit of the elite class and therefore should have its ownership instead be given to the workers instead. Industry is good but only if it exists for the benefit and under the ownership of workers.Foreign Policy
Strong connections with other communist nations and political parties from around the world should be formed. This international communism, or "Comintern" must collaborate to spread the ideology until the worker's revolution has taken root in all nations.Social Issues
Traditional Japanese values are just a means by which the ruling class secures its power and manipulates the populace. This included the rituals and religious practices as well as the social norms and customs the Japanese people have become accustomed to. Therefore these old ways must be dismantled so that a new materialist and equitable system of belief can replace it.Legal System
The current legal system has been irreparably corrupted by greed and power politics. Therefore it must be scrapped and replaced with a new system for the benefit of the common man rather than the system.Economic System
The profit motive and hierarchical nature of the economy has resulted in a system of haves and have-nots. This is unacceptable and must be dismantled and reorganized so that pay is given out evenly by a centralized authority.Political System
By communist theory, after the workers are able to seize the means of production, a temporary governmental body will be needed to facilitate this process, but eventually it will no longer be needed and a stateless society managed entirely by the worker's collective will be achieved.Immigration and International Trade
Communism does not make distinctions between people of any nationality and therefore rejects arbitrary limits on immigration. Limitations on trade may be made on behalf of the interests of domestic workers however.Religious Law
Communism rejects religious systems as a means by which hierarchies and rules are established in order to enshrine power and control behavior. For this reason at the very least religion and its societal statuses and privileges should be dismantled.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
