Empathy - You gain the ability to share, as a free action, one of your current emotions with an allies within 10 feet, granting them the benefits, but losing them yourself. Like you, an ally can only have two emotions active at a time. The effect lasts until the ally takes a long rest.   (3/day) Emotional Vampire - As a bonus action you gain the ability to sap the emotions out of an enemy within 10 feet. The target must make a charisma saving throw and beat your spell save DC, which will also use charisma if you aren't a caster, or they will have their emotion taken by you. This ability can only be used on sentient creatures, and only those hostile towards you. It can also only be used once per person, and anyone targeted by this attack will become aware that it was used upon them. The effect will last until the target takes a long rest.   An emotion stolen from an enemy will in turn give you its benefits. However you can still only have two emotions active at once, meaning you will either have to give away you emotion to a nearby ally, swap one out, or forego its benefits and keep your current emotions.   Roll a D8 similarly to how you choose your emotions with the Mood of the Masks ability, and the cooresponding emotion is the one you will take from your target, imposing one of the following consequences upon them:  

  • Joy - The target takes additional damage equal to half the proficiency rounded up of the attacker
  • Anger - Target is no longer able to add their ability modifier to their attack damage
  • Sadness - All attacks made against the target will have advantage
  • Fear - The target loses its ability to act in self preservation, and will not try to escape or disengage
  • Surprise - The target's ranking in the initiative lineup will be reduced by two.
  • Embarrassment - The target loses the desire to hide or take the stealth action, and so long as it is still on the battlefield, you and your allies will know its location
  • Disgust - The target will have its AC reduced by 1
  • Determined - The target has disadvantage on saves against magically induced conditions and wisdom saves
