You throw a grenade that explodes into a firey blast. Each creature that starts its turn within the fire must make a constitution save against your spell save DC. On a failure the target takes 5d8 fire damage. On a success the target only takes half of the damage. Fire created by the blast persists for 3 turns, dealing half the initial amount of damage for anyone that enters or ends their turn inside the fire.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd. Available for: Soldier, Chemist Subclass
