Kenji of the 20 Masks

Something of a legend in the spirit world. Long long ago he discovered the means by which to seal a being's power within a mask of their likeness, and through trickery and underhandedness managed to turn 20 of the strongest yokai in the spirit world into masks which he carries around with him. Because Kenji has no allegiance to anyone but himself, and rarely if ever shows his face, he is considered by some more myth than reality, though traces of his existence, and memories of those who have encountered him keep his legacy alive over the millennia. Rumor has it that he lost one of his masks in a gambling match of shogi with a patriarch of the Ishida family long ago, and has since only had 19 of his 20 masks. Kenji is known for looking perpetually tired, and having a twisted sense of humor, accompanied with an equally twisted laugh. He is also known for throwing tantrums and becoming unhinged when things don't go his way.
