Masaaki Tani

Chief editor at the Asahi Shimbun. Masaaki is a jaded veteran of the journalism industry. Any naive beliefs that he could save the world have long since been extinguished. He still believes in the liberal principals of the paper, but will also bend so that he and the paper do not break. He engages in a dance around the line of what will keep him out of the eyes of the government censors.
