A wolf yokai that has the power to transform into a fiercesome beast that gets more powerful as you level up. Ookami's high strength score make them powerful martial fighters for barbarian, fighter, or soldier class.
Unike their canine brethren the Inugami, Ookami are long wolves, making their own way in the world, fierce and proud.

You gain proficiency in the Perception and the Survival skill
Wolf Form - As a bonus action you can transform into a fiercesome beastly wolf. You can revert out of this form as a free action, or automatically if you drop to 0 hitpoints. While in this form you retain your same pool of hitpoints, but many of your stats change.

1st Tier Transformation

At First level your wolf has the following stats:

Your armor class becomes 8 + constitution modifier + proficiency

Your speed increases by 5

You gain advantage on Perception checks involving smell of hearing

You are unable to use spells or wield weapons, but can use abilities that don't require a human form (like

You gain Claw and Fang attacks using a fighter's pool of attack actions for your level (2 attacks at 5th level, 3 at 11th level, and 4 at 20th level). You are proficient with these attacks that use Strength. Both attacks deal 2D6+STR damage, with claws dealing slashing, and Fangs dealing piercing.

2nd Tier Transformation

At 8th level your wolf gains the following upgrades:

Your speed increases by another 5 feet

You gain the ability to transform to large size

Your Strength and Dexterity while in this form both increase by a +1 modifier

You gain temporary hitpoints while in the transformed state that equal your level

3rd Tier Transformation

At 16th level your wolf gains the following upgrades:

Your speed increases by another 5 feet

You gain the ability to transform to huge size

Your Strength and Dexterity while in this form both increase by a +2 modifier

The number of temporary hitpoints you gain becomes twice your level
