Range/Area: 60 feet, 5ft radius, expanding 5 feet every turn to a maximum of 15 feet
Duration: 1 minute, or until wind disperses it
Attack/Save: Constitution Save
Damage/Effect: 2d8 Poison
You throw a Phosgene Gas Canister to poison enemies within a radius. Each creature that starts its turn within the gas will take damage from water buildup in the lungs. Anyone within its area of effect must make a constitution save against your spell save DC. On a failure the target takes 2d8 poison damage and gains a level of exhaustion. On a success the target only takes half of the damage and loses no levels of exhaustion. A creature that enters the gas, or ends its turn in the gas must also make the save. The canister can be turned on or off with a bonus action, with the effects dissapating one turn after being turned off, and the effects starting from the beginning if turned on, but only lasting for "one minute minus the amount of time the canister was active prior.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
