Punk Rock

Punk Rock

Where other bards sing sweet serenades or tell ancient tales, you rage against the system. The College of Punk Rock represents a rebellion against authority, tradition, and expectations. Bards from this school wield music like a weapon—loud, unfiltered, and unrelenting. With scathing lyrics, aggressive beats, and chaotic performances, these bards ignite the fire of revolution and inspire the downtrodden to rise against their oppressors. Whether through distorted guitar riffs, improvised songs in a dingy alley, or graffiti-styled magic, you leave an unforgettable mark on every place you visit.

Grungy

At 3rd level you gain the following features:
  • You gain proficiency with Intimidation and Performance.
  • You can use any musical instrument as a spellcasting focus, including makeshift instruments like broken guitars, trash-can drums, or even a microphone connected to a loudspeaker.
  •

    Riot Anthem

At 3rd level you gain the following features:
  • Disrupting Sound: As an action, you unleash a blast of chaotic sound. Each creature within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take thunder damage equal to your Bardic Inspiration die and be pushed 5 feet away from you.
  • Rebel Yell: You can use your Bardic Inspiration on yourself. When you do, you also gain temporary hit points equal to the number rolled + your Charisma modifier.
  •

    Stage Presence

At 6th level you gain the following features:
  • Rebel's Command: When you cast a spell that targets a friendly creature (including Bardic Inspiration), you can grant that creature the ability to make a Charisma (Intimidation) check as a bonus action. If they succeed, enemies within 10 feet of them have disadvantage on attack rolls against that ally until the start of their next turn.
  • Crowd Surfer: While surrounded by two or more creatures, you can move through their spaces without provoking opportunity attacks. Once per turn, when you pass through an enemy’s space, you can shove them 5 feet in a direction of your choice.
  •

    Anarchy in the Multiverse

At 14th level you gain the following features:
  • Riot Starter: When you cast a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw, you can apply one of the following effects:
  • Chaos Surge: The first creature that fails the save is knocked prone.
  • Pandemonium: The spell creates difficult terrain within 10 feet of the target, as debris and magical graffiti explode into existence.
  • Echo of Defiance: The spell’s effects repeat at the start of your next turn (using the same spell DC), targeting the same creature or a different one within 10 feet of the original.
  • Break the Chains: When you or an ally within 30 feet succeeds on a saving throw against being charmed or frightened, you can use your reaction to grant every ally within range advantage on saving throws against the same effect until the end of their next turn.
