Shinigami

A yokai whose purpose is to take the lives of mortals and feed on their souls. Shinigami are most often wizards, but can serve as decen charisma based spellcasters as well.
Shinigami are the most feared and ominous of the yokai. No one is happy to see a shinigami unless that shinigami is there to take the life of someone they dislike. Shinigami lack uneasiness around death, pain, and suffering, seeing it as incidental to their work. Shinigami prefer to be alone, and usually carry out their killings of their own discernment and means. Shinigami arent malicious usually, more seeing their killing in the same way most see eating food. It is simply survival if not duty.
Shinigami are snow white and sometimes have black sclera, though not always.

Goosebumps - As a free action you can cause any number of harmless, but ominous effects to occur within 60 feet of you. These can include things like candles being snuffed out, a drop in temperture, or fill a person with anxious and ominous feelings even if they are unaware you are there.
You can cast the Cause Fear spell once per long rest
