Yurei
A restless ghost spirit yokai that trades greater raw stat buffs for more powerful abilities. Yurei are created when a person with unfinished business dies. This is often revenge but can be other motives as well. The yurei cannot pass on until its work is done. It is not uncommon for Yurei to have foggy or completely absent memories of their past life, but it is not always the case
Yurei are one of the most versatile races as their single stat is generally useful, and their abilities lend themselves well to any class

Darkvision Floating Spectre - You can fly at will up to 10 feet above the ground Incorporeal Movement - You can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. Take 1d10 force damage if you end your turn inside an object Ethereal Sight - The ghost can see 60 ft. into the Ethereal Plane when it is on the Material Plane, and vice versa Possesion - One humanoid that you can see within 5 ft. of you must succeed on a DC 13 Charisma saving throw or be possessed by you; you then disappears, and the target is incapacitated and loses control of its body. You now control the body but dont deprive the target of awareness. You can't be targeted by any attack, spell, or other effect, except ones that turn undead, and it retains its alignment, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma, and immunity to being charmed and frightened. You otherwise uses the possessed target's statistics, but doesn't gain access to the target's knowledge, class features, or proficiencies. The possession lasts until the body drops to 0 hit points, you end it as a bonus action, or you are turned or forced out by an effect like the dispel evil and good spell. When the possession ends, you reappear in an unoccupied space within 5 ft. of the body.
