Last Stand


Last Stand is a formidable Shek Kingdom fortress located in the desolate and dangerous region of the Spider Plains. Known as the bastion of Shek strength and resilience, it stands as a symbol of defiance against both the harsh environment and any who would challenge Shek sovereignty. The fortress is the final line of defense for the Shek Kingdom, built to withstand the relentless attacks of the monstrous creatures that inhabit the plains and neighboring Arach.

The Outer Walls: The fortress is surrounded by towering stone walls, reinforced with iron and lined with downward facing spikes. These walls are designed to keep out both human invaders and the monstrous creatures of the plains. The walls are patrolled day and night by Shek warriors, ever vigilant for signs of attack.
The Main Gate: The entrance to Last Stand is a massive, iron-reinforced gate that can be sealed shut in times of siege. It is flanked by guard towers equipped with ballistae and watchtowers that offer a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
The Last Keep: At the heart of the fortress lies The Last Keep, a massive stone structure that serves as the command center and last refuge in the event of a breach. The Keep is heavily fortified, with thick walls and few windows, designed to be nearly impregnable.
Training Grounds: The Shek take pride in their martial prowess, and the training grounds within Last Stand are where warriors hone their skills. These grounds are equipped with sparring rings, weapon racks, and various training dummies, constantly filled with the sounds of clashing steel.
The Bloodied Stone: A small, unassuming bar nestled within the heart of Last Stand, known only to the Shek warriors and those who have earned their place within the fortress. It is not marked by any grand sign or symbol, but every Shek warrior knows its significance.
