World Lore

Due to their population and proximity to the capital, Elves became a dominating force in the empire's military. Additionally, they hold a rich culture filled with fierce warriors known for slaying monsters and monstrosities or ending world-shattering events. These myths (such as the stories of Kat'av Naivern) further perpetuate their stereotype as natural hunters and warriors. High Elves in particular are typically known for holding high-ranking positions as Soldiers and Mages in the Avannaatian Empire.
