The Faceless One
The Faceless One has been the God of Conflict since the beginning of time, creating great envy amongst the other Great Old Ones in the universe. They continuously try to usurp the title, each waging war against him to no avail (which, as the god of conflict, pleases The Faceless One greatly). After each triumph, The Faceless One appears to a mortal to begin a cult in his honor in preparation for the inevitable attack that he knows will come.

Divine Goals & Aspirations
The Faceless One allows mortals to collect the faces of other people to claim their souls as soldiers for the next War against the other Great Old Ones. He grants his followers extended life so they can fulfill their calling until the next fight begins. He promises them, besides the extended life and some of his powers in during their lifetime, eternal life at his side in his immortal empire when they die and also some of his power making the individual even more powerful in the afterlife.
After each War of the Great Old Ones, The Faceless One either absorbs the souls of his soldiers to grant him even more power, enslaves the strong ones to be soldiers and servants in his empire or uses them to further build his empire.
Trough the influence of Alghollthu, no new cult was naturally born in the mortal realm which weakened The Faceless One a bit since he had to use his own powers to fight the others. This is why he resurrected his most loyal servant, Günther Jürgen Otto Albrecht der dritte von Königswald zu Weißfels, to not only get rid of Alghollthu, but also to collect more faces and to reinstate a cult in his name.
