Sufi Family (Sue-Fee)

Overview

The Sufi Family are the Historians and Storytellers of the Wixen Communities. Before written words, they gathered the oral traditions, and now, they gather the histories, the family tales, and keep the records of the Wixen. The leaders of the Sufi Family is a partnership, the Keeper and the Custodian. They run the Grand Library that houses all the permanent records for the Wixen.
The current Keeper is Gado Sufi. They have been Keeper for 27 years, since the last Keeper retired and named Gade their successor. Tala Sufi is the Custodian, and a member of the Wixen Conclave.

Structure

The Sufi Family is run by a loving alliance pair where one partner is the Keeper and the other partner runs the family as the Custodian. The pair come into power together, so their isn't an imbalance of power at anytime. 
The Keeper runs the Grand Wixen Libraries, while the Custodian is a member of the Wixen Conclave.

Culture

Every member of the family plays a role in keeping the knowledge and history of the Wixen families. When the Sufi family received their blessing, they received the powers of racial memory and collective consciousness. They have the abilities to achieve great feats of knowledge and understanding with these two powers alone, and have more often been the advisor to the Heks, than being the Heks themselves. As they have learned and grown in their power, they have gained access to planar travel. This was a great blessing in The Time of the Sundering, as this is how they communicated across the lands to all the tribes.
