Abyssal Steel
Known also as Demonic Steel, Abyssal Steel is completely unknown as a natural element on the material and the inner planes; it can only be found naturally along the inner, spiraling corridors of the most heinous of places, the corrupted Abyss itself.
Abyssal Steel is probably the rarest element one can find on Kermoria due to it's extreme origin, and it's price reflects this tenfold. Hailing from the vast nothingness of the Abyss itself, it is almost impossible to acquire, as travel there is basically non-existent, and, should anyone wish to go there, for whatever reason, return is not guaranteed or even assumed.
Found in small quantities in the rocky floor of the lowest plane, Abyssal Steel is extremely heavy and difficult to transport. Dangerous beasts, as well as a malignant presence known as 'Abyssal Corruption' plague the area, making mining for it extremely dangerous but also exceptionally lucrative.

Significance
Abyssal steel is known for it's use in armor and, on occasion, weapons. However, the items forged from it are often depicted as evil or vile in nature; many artifacts and powerful relics of bygone ages use this steel, and those things have, often, gained a particularly devilish and tyrannical personality. However, it's bronze-like color is often sought for it's beauty by collectors, making abyssal steel a very valuable market for those who can afford to spend kingdom-level fortunes on it's acquisition.
