Dergati
Even in the light of the brightest sun, one would be wise to not invoke the name of the Dark Lady, else she strike you dead for such insolent utterances. Dergati is as beautiful as she is fickle, liable to lay you low simply for breathing too loudly in her presence, or to gift you with boons unimaginable simply because the mood struck her.
Dergati is dark and mysterious, always working from the shadows to further her own machinations; many of these schemes take years, or even centuries to unfold.
In life, she was known as one of the most beautiful women to grace Kermoria, and that sentiment eventually twisted and corrupted her mind; where once there was a young girl full of ideals, she quickly became soured and self-centered, focused solely on maintaining her beauty and grace above all else. She is known as the Mother of Hags, as the legends state her children were born solely for her to feed on their essence, turning loose foul and ugly creatures into the world.

Divine Domains
As the goddess of Nightmares, Dergati dabbles in the domain of the night. The majority of clerics in her service belong to the Twilight Domain, though there are a number who utilize the Trickery Domain to further their own ambitions.
There are a number of monks who dedicate their monastic traditions in her service, or in her honor. Many of these monks follow the Way of the Shadow, utilizing stealth and subterfuge to accomplish their dark goals. Amongst the martial clergy, paladins dedicated to the dark lady have, most often, taken the Oath of Conquest, though many have broken whatever oath they had previously taken and fallen from their ways, being known as Oathbreakers.

Artifacts
Dergati carries with her a wickedly cruel mace which she has named Mindsplinter. It is rumored that, should she strike someone with it, they are rendered completely incapable of speech or anything more than the most base of mental functions, living out their days as an absolute simpleton. This is her cruelest punishment to those who have wronged her, as they are made incapable of ever crossing her again.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The Dark Lady is most often symbolized by a brown or black shrike, a hideous bird known for slaughtering other animals when they least expect it.
Holidays
The end of the tenth month, when the veils between the Shadowfell and the Material Plane are thinnest, is known as Hallow's End. It is then, and only then, that Dergati is said to tolerate the light of the world, walking among mortals to choose the next man to lay with her. In some cults and cultures, this has led to men dressing in costume and presenting themselves by firelight in hopes of being chosen for the honor of fathering the next generation of Hags and Witches.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
The legend states that, one day, the Dark Lady will be angered to the point of no return, that she will conduct what is fearfully known as 'Dergati's Ride', wherein she will ride her nightmare steed across the skies of the world, culling the weak and the blasphemers from the face of Kermoria.
