Ruins of the Draconic Age

Each year, the Royal Society for the Exploration of the Natural and Physical World receives reports of dozens of relics and ruins being discovered in the ancient places of the world; deep within thick forests, hidden beneath mountains and some even swallowed by rivers and lakes. More and more places are discovered each year, and some have been known to exist for centuries, but each of these places share one common theme: they all give a glance of a bygone age; some from the Draconic age, or sometimes, rarely, even The Old World.

Lantern's Rest

A tradepost built atop a tall hill on the western edge of the Danduwen Forest, Lantern's Rest fell to ruin hundreds of years ago. It is rumored to be inhabited by the spirits of the dead, who are said to be guarding a large hoard leftover from travelers in centuries past.

The Ruins of Fornost

An ancient fortress city located within what is now the Ash Fields, it appears to have once been the capital of an otherwise-unknown empire. Fornost predates the Draconic Age and is a remnant of the Old World; however, little is known of Fornost's peoples, except their propensity for high walls and their ability to create tall, elaborate structures utilizing methods unknown to modern researchers. Fornost is largest project ever attempted by the Royal Society for the Exploration of the Natural and Physical World.

Banjyck's Reach

Banjyck's Reach was a heavily industrialized city located on the edge of the Zaulfung Forest near the Land of Giants. Excavation efforts are underway, but it appears the city was destroyed by some sort of force they created via alchemy and science; however, records are slim-at-best as to what, exactly, happened there.
