The Eclipse Guard

The Eclipse Guard are the elite soldiers of the Ilithi military, tasked with the protection of the Ferdahl at all times.

Composition

According to the records from the Crystal Tower, The Eclipse Guard is comprised of 225 men and officers, each an elite and highly trained soldier.

Equipment

Each man is issued a ceremonial sword, shield, and armor, all of which is kept in absolutely stunning mirror-polished condition.  It is assumed, should the need arise for them to go into a pitched battle, they would be issued the best equipment and arms the Tower could afford.

Training

Each member of the Eclipse Guard is a highly trained soldier, skilled in infantry, cavalry, defensive, siege, and security tactics.  Each man is assumed to be an excellent horseman, as well as highly skilled in ground warfare.

Each officer is required to have graduated from the Gorran Institute or similar military academy, giving them a greater understanding and more tactical flexibility.
