The Unholy Ziggurat of Erenoc

Born of the union between unholy magics, chaotic, ruinous powers, and mad engineering, Erenoc's Ziggurat rises well above the floor of it's underground cavern, towering over the Underdark landscape.

The Unholy Ziggurat, known in Undercommon as 'Loch Lomora', was built atop the convergence of a number of ley lines, conduits of extreme magical energies that circulate the length and breadth of the earth.  The crossroads where these superhighways of arcane energy meet are hotbeds of extreme magical activity, and a number of powerful rituals require this sort of energy to empower their spells; the Ziggurat was built to harness, and, more importantly, focus, these energies into a cohesive and viable source of near-unending power.
