A story told by many during the spooky month of Xixap, the tale of a ghost cat is a story that takes place within Vaport City and the surrounding area. According to some, on the night of a full blue moon, a ghost cat can be found in the thundering forest and roaming the city. With white fur with silver specks, and shining blue eyes that stare into your soul, it is said the ghost cat judges your future. With sounds no cat can make, low grumbling akin to that of a dragon, hissing that is more reptile than feline, people believe the ghost cat is a malevolent creature.

This isn't the truth, however, though no one really does know the truth. Those who catch a glimpse of the ghost cat seemingly vanish without a trace, and those who go out seeking it meet a similar or perhaps even worse fate.
The tale of the ghost cat has many different iterations, though all follow a similar formula, someone catches a glimpse of the ghost cat, and disappears without a trace.
