The Kingdom of Elorinar

Nathwic Alaga was the most enlightened of several tribal chieftains in the Horka River valley during the second century. The people of the Horka Valley (called the Lakori) were largely of Lythian origin. They settled in the region during and after the Atani wars. The Lakori prospered, benefitting from the fertile soil, and became settled and relatively peaceful.
In 155 with the aid of various Melderyni knights and advisors, Nathwic unified the Lakori and founded the Kingdom of Elorinar. The kingdom grew steadily; when Nathwic died in 190, there were colonies from the north coast of Cape Renda to Zuilos and as far west as the Ulmerien river.
In the late first century, the tribal unrest that has become known as the Migration Wars began. Elorinar was free from this threat until the early years of the third century, when the Bujoc began raiding their settlements. In 218, the Bujoc sacked the small fortress town of Laket, slaying the elderly King Janakor, Nathwic's successor. For the next four years, they ravaged eastern Elorinar and defeated every force that Korob, Janakor's son, could raise.
Relations between Elorinar and Melderyn had remained cordial since the days of Nathwic. Seeing no other recourse, Korob turned to King Shelir for aid. In 223, Korob swore fealty to the Melderyni throne. By 225, after various emissaries had been sent to the Bujoc, Shelir was able to announce the Peace of Anadel. The Bujoc returned to their former peaceful lives and Korob became the first Earl of Eloring.
