Litsara Hodenay
Nish Litsa Hodenay (a.k.a. Seskum)
If there is one rule to visiting Luze if Litsa Hodenay is in town; do not visit a Skwoko at any cost, especially if it is Pitya's.The rowdy eldest daughter of Engwa Hodenay and Lami Jeuht, she was also a travel writer and adventurer, though she cannot boast a legacy near as large as her father's. Her journeys were focused in the southern continent Mi Hople.
Life and Times
Now she's grown, I have noticed she takes after me more than her mother, rambunctious and argumentitive as can be, just as how I was as a lad.Born of the second month, Litsa came into the world in an extremely difficult delivery, Litsa's umbilical chord wrapped around her neck. Though, by some miracle, both mother and daughter survived, to which she gained the nickname Seskum by her father, which translates to 'my miracle', though she was not fond of it being used by anyone within her life. Her early years were plagued with familial seperation, her and her mother staying in Luze while Engwa finished up his loose ends around the continent. Perhaps, this lead to her having the weakest relationship with her father, though they were also known to have clashing personalities. At 16, she walked out upon her family, beginning to take menial jobs while she worked up money (Na'a) to be able to set out on her first journeys. During this time, she remet her first husband, of who she had never been quite fond of a young girl, though grew to love during these firs years. While she was still at home, her mother used funds upon her children's education, making sure they got a praticial education which was robbed her, though Litsa took to education the least of her siblings, instead prefering to play and preform pratical tasks within the small patches of greenery in their corner of Luze.
Risktaker
From a young age, Litsa was known to be fond of taking risks and enjoying the thrill that came with danger. Perhaps, this lead to her death, assuming that medical attention was an optional idea and that a risk like that would come out within her favour. It also benefitted her in a lot of ways, she able to tell rather honest tales of daring do, contrasting her father's rather bland and academic prose with her exciting and captivating stories.Lover of Animals
Though a misanthrope, she was known to have a profound love for animals of all kind. Even if her adventures were sold as these great quests of daring-do, most of the time they were rather mild research trips with Litsa studing whatever animal interested her, and were embelished for the sake of public enjoyment.Marital Relations
Litsa was married 4 times in her life. Her first marriage was to Mat Kesh, her childhood sweetheart who she first met when she was eleven, though wasn't exactly fond of. They remet again when she was 17, both working upon the Hyoonzi River. They eloped in 2179, when she was 19, and divorced in 2183. The pair's marriage broke down as he had hated the constant bouts of seperation due to adventuring. Her second marriage was to Shelom Yayd occured only 7 months after her divorce from Mat Kesh. Considered taboo as you are meant to wait at least a year before remarriage, it lasted 2 and a half years, starting late 2183 and ending in the spring of 2186. A fellow adventurer, she was fond of him as a partner in adventure, though found him to be a terrible husband. However, they remained friends until her death in 2205. Her third marriage was the one she was most attached to. Hu Whall was perhaps the love of her life, their marriage lasting the longest of Litsa's four. They met abroad. She at the time was writing some more mudane writings, studying plant life within Gamzë lands and he was looking for atrifacts he could display within the empire. They clicked upon first meeting, starting an amourous friendship as she seperated from Shelom and were wed in late 2187 upon a stint within Luze to see her family. They were a couple until 2199, when he was taken by illness, presumingly the Zyehe Cough which was also the demise of her father. Litsa's two children, Paeta and Velxa Whall, were also by him. Her fourth marriage lasted until her death and was to Ve'a Gisp, described by her as 'the most boring man within Xhara'. He was a friend of hers, a fellow from Luze, who she met while in the south. They weren't exactly the closest.
