Aldwine "The Immortal Sovereign"
A king kicked off his land at the age of 16, and now he is sure, his heart can never be still. Pray you never feel the same kind of remorse. He aligns his heart, his body and mind, to face what he's done and do his time. With no place to stand, and nowhere to hide. There will come a time when he will look his accuser in the eye. They will pray to the god they've always denied. Then he'll go back and get his blade. And he'll say that "you haven't met me I am the only son."Gather all who hear. Gather 'round the hearthfire. A tale I'll tell you here of an immortal king. The story of a man. Who dared defy a living god and his charade. Reborn upon the sands. He left his old life behind. When I was a boy, I sharpened words like a blade. To fend off all the blows they dealt. While sticks and stones may break my bones. My tongue is my defense. But the wounds they opened never closed. Then came the armored man and he offered me his hand. So I left behind the the city of rain. A journey to the great unknown. But before him stands a traitor. He holds a match below. "Is this the end?" thinks our king. When a voice speaks of something more. Bring me your sword, your soul. Can't you see I'm a god of this world? Trust and believe the sands will be yours. As soon as you release me." And this was his prayer. "You say your a god, so why do you need a man. The gift that you trade, the pact that you made. A charade to help you escape, but I will no longer be a slave." With no place to stand and nowhere to hide. Beyond the sands, a king whose eyes never shut when he "died." Now returns to reclaim what it is he was always denied. He is the Immortal Sovereign, and he has not taken his last breath.
