Esegar is a traditionalist member of the Lampade, druids that shield the surface from threats that boil up from the underworld. In Ruòn, one of the eight great chamberdeeps, he holds vigil, holding back both creatures from below and adventurers from above. But having been lost in the caves at a young age, he has a kindness for those who arrive by happenstance or accident.
