Mayor Devon Belltrum
Devon Belltrum was a long-term mayor of Mossvile until his death in 393. At the moment of his death he was running for another term in the Mossvile mayoral election against his opponents Lucius Greymane and Alexander "Xander" Wilkinson.

Personal history
Despite being an avid user of certain liquids to broaden the mind and relax the muscles, Devon Belltrum was a good mayor. Not that he was such a memorable leader, but times were good under his term in the office. The people of Mossvile felt comfortable with his "same old, same old" approach. It wasn't until Xander Wilkinson showed up with new ideas and big promises that Belltrum's days as a mayor might have been numbered.
A week before the elections Belltrum left on official business for the last time. Belltrum decided to travel to Heaven's Keep to determine threat the ever more restless growing area north of Heaven's Keep could pose for Mossvile. He traveled together with Dranyss Starseeker and requested Team Treebark to join the convoy.
Everything seemed quiet in Heaven's Keep until night fell, when the camp was attacked by Nagas. The Heaven's Keep garrison fought off the attack together with Team Treebark. Too tired from the fight Team Treebark barely noticed a strange individual coming from Belltrum's tent, neither was it strange to them that Belltrum grabbed a bottle of wine to wash down the excitement of the battle. It wasn't until Belltrum collapsed that they connected the dots.
