Freya is a tall, plus sized woman with pale skin, red hair and red eyes. When she smiles, you will notice her two big canine teeth. She might look slightly intimidating, but don't worry, she won't bite...when she has eaten enough.

Personal history
James and Natalia Nightingale lived together in their peaceful village, Duncaster. They would gather food and wood from the forest, write spell books and explore nearby land. But one thing was always a passion, teaching the local children the art of magic. James specializing in the art of being a Paladin, while Natalia focussed on teaching the young sorcerers the art of self-control. After a few years of teaching other people’s children, they made the choice to start their own family. A year later their son Arthur was born. And after about another year the twins, Freya and Korben were brought into the world.
Just like their parents the three siblings possessed magic. Arthur started his training as a young paladin, sharing his father’s talent of sword fighting. Korben was a true sorcerer, although he preferred the company of the local wizards over that of his own parents. Then there was Freya, up until she was 12 years old the entire town thought she was not in the possession of any type of magic. Even though she didn't show any signs of magic whatsoever, she did have a charming aura that drew people in. Everyone liked the Nightingale girl ever since she was born, even if she would not possess the power of magic. However one day she went to cheer her brother Arthur on during one of his fights.
“Come sister! I think I’m finally able to beat Darian in a spar, you will cheer me on right?” Running to the middle of the range, Arthur readies himself for the fight. Darian a stronger and older boy stands in front of him and takes on his position. Soon the fight starts and Darian quickly claims the upper hand, with both quick and strong movements he forces Arthur to the ground. The moment Darian tries to disarm his opponent, Freya starts cheering “Come on Arthur you can do it! stand up! Stand up!” Arthur uses the distraction and almost magically hits every attack he makes, eventually resulting in his win. “Woohooo!” the siblings cheered “You won Arthur, you did great! Congratulations!” “Thank you Freya! But I think I am not the only one that should be congratulated” Arthur says with a knowing look. “I think you should visit Naeve, he is in charge of bard training. I’m sure you will find your magic there.” Suddenly everything made sense, she had magic all along however she was no sorcerer, but a bard…a future bard.
6 years passed, all three siblings have grown into adults. Arthur and Korben were well on their way to become strong and intellectual casters. Freya was still finishing her basic training but was close to becoming a first level bard. Since Freya was so focussed on helping others, she often forgot to go to class, causing her to be a little behind in her education then the others. She preferred 'real magic' over that which was used in the classroom. The same type of magic she used to help her brother win all those years ago.
After a day of intense training the three siblings were called to gather at their home where their parents awaited them. “Ah children, glad you are home. Your mother and I have a request coming from the elders. As you all know we have been exploring the nearby woods for quite some years now. Since your training is coming along quite well, we want you three to explore this ruin over here” their father said, pointing at a marked map. “Uhm, father. Although I would love to go, I haven’t even finished my basic training yet. Will it be alright?” replied Freya. “Your teacher Neave believes that your magic primarily shows during times of need. He believes that going on the expedition will improve your spellcasting. Not to mention I have a little exercise for your Brother too.” He says now looking at Arthur. “As you know son, you’ll soon take your pledge to the oath. But before that, I want you to know about the hardships of such an oath. You are to promise me to look out for your siblings, especially Freya. That way you’ll understand the importance of promises.” “Of course father. I promise to protect my siblings during the expedition father. You have my word.” Says Arthur. “Good. Now since Korben is the only one who learned how to read a map. I’ll give you the responsibility of finding the ruin. Be careful, all of you.” And so the three siblings went on their journey.
Education
At a young age Natalia tried to teach her daughter magic. However it wasn't until the age of 12, that she showed any sign of magic. Freya was eventually introduced to her bard teacher Naeve, who would teach her all of the bardic basics.
Mental Trauma
- The Journey of Freya and her siblings went terribly wrong. During their investigation of the old ruin, the siblings stumbled upon an old book hidden behind a secret wall. Once Korben touched the book, it seemed to have taken over his mind. Before Freya and Arthur could do something about it, they were already targeted by a sleeping spell. Once they awakened from their sleep, they were covered in blood, transformed into creatures now known as Dhampirs. All because of the spirit/demon/spell that was now in the possession of Korbens body. "Korben" offered them to join his army, which the siblings declined.
- Immediately after Arthur and Freya were send back to Duncaster. Freya almost bit her mother due to her newfound bloodlust, luckily she was able to avoid it.
