The Rebirth of Azahri
"Through the death of Azahri, Azar was born."
The Rebirth of Azahri is an Azaari legend about the birth of Azar. The legend goes as follows: Long, long ago there was a Phoenix the size of a mountain, his name: Azahri. When he spread his wings, one could see every color imaginable, it was like they were dancing in the flickering flames. Azahri traveled through the multiverse in search of a final resting place to be reborn again. In this search, he struck upon a plane of nothingness. It was a dark and empty wasteland, an undiscovered place until now.
As Azahri laid down and breathed out his last breath, the flames of his wings started exploring the land. Craters were created wherever the flames crossed, the fire within them turning into lava. His soul rose to the sky, turning into an ever-burning sun that lighted and warmed up the plane. After that, his body turned to ash, becoming the volcano we now call El-Efreet.
Not long after the creation of the Plane itself, the first life spawned from the volcano, as the Efreeti and Dijaani walked from the ashes. Through the death of Azahri, Azar was born.
