Honor Westri

Honor Westri

Honor is the youngest son of a minor noble. Before his birth, Dayus' father, Ames of the old house Westri, drove a dangerous cult out of a small town. As he and his men descended upon the last of the cultists, the leader of the cult cursed Ames to have a forsaken child. Ames promptly loped the cultist's head off and returned to his home. Dayus was born several months later and proved part of the curse had worked at least in appearance. Ames disregarded the curse and made sure that Dayus was treated like his elder brothers and sister. Despite this Ames still limited Dayus' time spent outside of their mansion to aovid rumors spreading of a curse in the Westri family.   As he grew up Dayus became entralled with tales of adventurers and vowed to become one and spread his stories across the continent. He spent most of his time in his family's garden when he could sneak away so he could act out the adventures of heroes he had read about. As he walked home one day from the market he meet a madman on the road. The madman asked why the teen wondered the streets alone, and Dayus, now going by his virtue name of Honor, told the stranger that he planned to become a renowned adventurer that would spread his tales throughout the world. The madman claimed that his master found Honor's antics and naive attitude to be amusing and offered Honor a deal. The madman offered a bronze armband that would give magic and advice as long as Honor never stayed in one location for a year and to stay amusing. Honor thinking the man was simply joking accepted. They parted ways soon after and Honor returned home forgetting the encounter within a few days. Within a year Honor's body grew sicker and sicker until he remembered his deal and left home. His family highly disapproves and would rather he return home and look for a way to remove the spell on him. They have mostly cut him off until he does return. Honor wandered for several years and moved from location to location without any real plans   Honor heads to the human capital to begin his life as an adventurer and famed novelist
