Ironwood

The strongest wood in Kidruan, Ironwood hails from A'h Enfrys and is known for a variety of properties. These being: non-magical fire resistance, inflexible yet impact-absorbing, and being virtually immune to any bladed weapon short of those that are divinely enchanted.

Growth Rate & Stages

It is thought that an Ironwood tree takes many centuries to fully mature, with most trees being young in their lifetime. This is thought because of certain clusters of trees being far older and far larger than the majority, sometimes reaching upwards of 400 ft (120m) tall and 40 ft (12m) in base diameter.

Conservation Status

Ironwood is abundant in A'h Enfrys and so difficult to harvest that its conservation not a concern.
