Kematian Mamba's

Introduction

Their name derives from the their infamous assassination squads which are able to dispatch any target, no matter how well defended, no matter how powerful, once touched by the Mamba's kiss death will find you.
Their organisation now spans the length and width of the five kingdoms, under the yolk of the Jade emperor. It is said that only in the last 20 years has the Kematian Mamba's have cooperated in a loose partnership with the Jade Empire, offering their services in exchange for the freedom to conduct their various enterprises.
The Kematian Mamba's originate in the kingdom of Muljang in the south east of the Jade empire, a predominantly coastal region of grassland deltas and industrious ports and docklands.
The Kematian Mamba's origins are unknown with the first recorded appearance by them being in the eastern seas of the Almaz in the year 507 AD when a ship belonging to the 'West Rilian Company' was captured by this group. Brandishing the Jolly Roger of a spear circled by five serpents in a circular pattern this group was thought to be nothing more than a new pirate crew, possibly in relation to one of the great crews of Iontra, however, as time progressed this did not seem the case...
Rise to Infamy: After operating briefly for a year as a pirate crew in the eastern and southern Almaz, the Kematian Mamba's or better known as simply the 'Mamba's' had amassed a small fleet of 17 privateers. With this fleet they took control of the small fishing village of Sarang Ular in the archipelago of the Raksa-verkelok, (The land of Meandering Giant's) in the year 508 AD. This was largely diminished in importance by the West- Rilian Company, viewing the capture of this native settlement as only as a den of brigands and piracy of a far off land, in a place void of law and order anyway, out of the Rilian realm of control.
Area of Operation: Since that time the Mamba's have grown that small fishing village of Sarang Ular into a sizeable city, offering a hub of trade in the east for both locals and those not welcome Cortezia. Contrary to how Iontra deals with its neighbours, the Den of Mamba's that rule the city cooperate with surrounding nations and people, with seeking to have cordial relations with most. The Mamba's mainly operate as a merchant syndicate in the eastern and southern Almaz, acting as the gateway into to the Tanah-iblis (Eastern-Veil).
Military Forces: The enforcers of the Mamba's are known as the Boa's, which keep the peace throughout Sarang Ular, with their watchful eyes always present in the city, eager to strike at any threat that may be posed against the mamba's.
