Illithid

Created through demonic rites, Illithids (also known as Mind Flayers by their enemies) are humanoids with squid-like appendages and psychic abilities. They are created by corrupting humanoids through demonic rites, granting them immunity from aging, psychic powers, and an enhanced connection to the Arcane. However, this process destroys the soul of the person, leaving behind only an echo of the original humanoid and denying the soul of reincarnation.

In the City of Sacrifice (Astu Sacrificium), Emna commanded the Crimson Order to recruit their highest devotees into their ranks by performing Illithid Rituals on them, making them Vorston's eternal servants in Kindevion.
