Jula Lazul

Jula is Empress Calaitha Zurat's most trusted servant. She will do anything in order to protect the Empress. She has adapted to the harsh environment of Zakib's deserts through rigorous training, and has even learned the ability to manipulate wind currents with her mind, which she has confused as the ability to control sand.

Biography

Jula was born in the underground Nulgath Slums 19 years ago in the year 1981 AGJ. Her family lived in poverty, with her mother and father constantly working odd jobs just to get by. By age 16, Jula was considering becoming a prostitute to support her family. In 1996 AGJ, Empress Calaitha came to the Ockalon Square, a public space in the center of the slums, in order to celebrate the coming new year. At this festival, an assassin attempted to take the Empress's life, with her servants being powerless to stop them. In the chaos, Jula threw herself in front of Empress Calaitha, stopping a throwing knife from hitting the queen and getting stabbed in her shoulder, leaving a scar she still has to this day. The assassin was arrested, and Jula was accepted as one of Empress Calaitha's most trusted servants.

Jula Lazul is the highest ranking Imperial Servant of Zakib and personal fiend and assistant to Empress Calaitha. She is allied with the party for the sake of serving her empress, as well as personal connections she has developed with the Helraisers.
