The Spirit Oak

The Spirit Oak is a giant oak tree located five miles north of Aurora in the country of Arbhor. It was created in 3000 BGJ by The Mother, the celestial goddess of life. This tree is significant in that it births many magical creatures, such as Elves, Fairies, and Ents. Tadpoles that are raised within waters touched by The Spirit Oak's roots will grow into Frogfolk. The tree itself is composed of three major sections:

• The Roots
• The Hollow
• The Canopy

The Spirit Oak also serves as the focal point for the Arborian religion, known as the Church of the Mother. As such, those who follow this religion are forbidden from setting foot upon the ground the tree rests upon, as this land is considered sacred.
